On April 22, Zhang Yan, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, met in Fuzhou with a delegation led by Maliksho Nematzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT).

The 20-member delegation arrived in Fujian on April 20 for a five-day visit. During their tour of Fuzhou, Ningde, and Xiamen, the delegation explored local efforts in community-level governance, cultural preservation, ecological conservation, and urban planning through trips to communities, enterprises, exhibition halls, hospitals, and historic districts. By tracing the visions and practices spearheaded by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his tenure in Fujian, the delegation gained a multifaceted understanding of the province’s development achievements. The visit aims to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, carry forward traditional friendship, promote connectivity and exchanges, expand cooperation in various fields, and contribute to the common development and prosperity of both countries.
