Tulou, or earthen houses, are widely scattered throughout Yongding and Nanjing counties, Fujian province. Set amidst rice, tea and tobacco fields, the Tulou features tall, fortified mud walls capped by tiled roofs with wide over-hanging eaves.

It comprises the Fujian Tulou King Area, home to the massive and uniquely shaped Chengqi Building, and the Fujian Tulou Prince Area, featuring the iconic Zhencheng Building.

Additionally, the Chuxi Tulou Ancient Village Area showcases 36 Tulou buildings harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. Activities include night tours, themed banquets, immersive performances, unique accommodations, helicopter rides, traditional experiences, art performances, and more.

The Chengqi Building in Gaobei village is known as the "King of Round Tulou", while the Qiaofu Building nearby blends elements of Eastern and Western architecture. The Zhencheng Building in Hongkeng village stands out as a typical Tulou structure resembling an ancient official's hat.

Visitors can also explore the Yongding Dragon Lake Scenic Area, which offers boat rides, drifting experiences, parasailing, and the famous Dragon Lake whole fish feast. This scenic area presents a perfect blend of history, natural beauty, and cultural experiences, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the charm of Fujian's Tulou architecture.
